1. Information We Collect
From Seekers (User A): Email address, display name, and the information you share during the intake conversation — including details about your relationship with the Receiver, your reconnection goals, and shared history.
From Receivers (User B): Email address (provided by the Seeker), and any messages you send if you choose to engage. Receivers sign in with a one-time code sent to their email — we do not ask identity-verification questions.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To facilitate the reconnection process between Seeker and Receiver.
- To draft respectful outreach on the Seeker's behalf using AI.
- To confirm a Receiver controls their email address (via a one-time code) before they engage.
- To send outreach messages and follow-ups on the Seeker's behalf.
- To improve the Service and ensure safety.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:
- AI model providers (to generate strategy and outreach content).
- Email delivery services (to send outreach messages).
- As required by law or legal process.
4. Data Retention & Your Choices
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request access to, or deletion of, your account and associated data by emailing privacy@pleasevouch.com. We handle these requests manually — there is not yet a self-service export or delete option — and we honor applicable data-protection rights (such as GDPR and CCPA) where they apply to you.
5. Receiver Data Rights
Receivers who are contacted through Vouch have the right to:
- Decline, ignore, or choose "no contact" — which stops further outreach for that request.
- Ask Vouch to stop contacting them, which we honor.
- Request access to, or deletion of, any data Vouch holds about them by emailing privacy@pleasevouch.com (handled manually).
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
