You tell Vouch, in a private conversation, about someone you lost touch with and what you hope for. Vouch drafts how it will introduce itself, you approve it, and Vouch reaches the person by email. From there the person talks with Vouch, not with you, until they decide what they want.

Yes, always. Every message Vouch sends identifies it as a service run by AI. It never pretends to be you or to be a person.

Not at first. Vouch opens by explaining who asked it to reach out in general terms, for example someone you knew at university, and the gist of why. Your name is shared once the person is open to hearing it. If they decline before that, they never learn who reached out.

Three things. They can be open to connecting with you directly. They can accept a single message from you without a conversation. Or they can say no. Vouch detects which one they mean from the conversation itself; nobody is asked to click a verdict.

Vouch makes sure the no is informed, that they know the gist of why someone reached out, and then it stops. It never argues, never reframes the request, and never comes back to check a second time. You are told the outcome without seeing their words.

No. Their conversation with Vouch is theirs. You receive the outcome, and anything they explicitly asked Vouch to pass along to you.

By email, from Vouch, with a private link to a conversation only they can open. They sign in with a passcode sent to that same address, so nobody else can read it.

One invitation and at most three gentle follow ups, spaced out over time. If they ask Vouch to stop, all follow ups are cancelled immediately. After the last follow up, Vouch goes quiet for good.

Yes. Anyone can ask never to be contacted through Vouch again. That request covers every future story from anyone, and we honor it before any email is sent.

One credit starts one story. Credits are sold individually and in packs, there is no subscription, and credits never expire. Current prices are on the pricing page.

No. A credit pays for the attempt. You are never charged more if they respond, and the credit is not refunded based on how they choose to respond.

Automatically, if a story cannot continue before any outreach is sent, for example when a safety review stops it or the person has opted out of Vouch. If something goes wrong on our side, write to support@pleasevouch.com and we will recover the story or return the credit.

No. Our AI provider processes your conversation to generate responses and does not use it to train its models. We do not sell your data.

Yes. Email privacy@pleasevouch.com and we will handle it. The one exception is a request never to be contacted again, where we keep the minimum record needed to honor it.

Vouch is not therapy, not a dating service, and not a way around a boundary someone has set. You may not use it to contact anyone you are legally prohibited from contacting, or to harass, intimidate, or stalk anyone. Every story passes a safety review before any email is sent.

Former partners, old friends, family members, and past colleagues. Every category gets the same care, and the more sensitive ones get more restraint, not less.
